James has been a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1997.

Specialising in industrial and logistics agency, strategic land, commercial development land and associated professional consultancy work, James has been involved with many of the highest profile logistics development schemes across the country.

James acts for a wide variety of clients including Landowners, Developers, Institutions, Estates, Trusts, Investors, and Land Promoters.

Before co-founding APEX in 2025, James was an International Partner at Cushman & Wakefield, having joined through its 2022 acquisition of Burbage Realty Partners which he co-founded in 2017. Prior to that he had been a Director of Burbage Realty since its formation in 2003 having joined from Lambert Smith Hampton.
